Kia ora,

Cancer has touched my whānau very personally. Over the last two years, both my koro and my auntie have faced cancer. I wanted to do something difficult enough to honour them and everyone walking that same road.
I'm walking Te Araroa from Cape Reinga to Bluff — 3,000 kilometres, one day at a time. Along the way, I hope to whakapiki mōhiotanga awareness of how deeply cancer affects Kiwi families, and encourage people to support the Cancer Society.
Every evening I update this website from my phone with where I've been, where I'm heading next, and a little story from the day. I read every message while I update the site, and it's something I genuinely look forward to.
Ngā mihi nui — thank you for walking alongside me.
