Our Story
A Hole in One began with a simple idea: a donut can be every bit as considered, beautiful and memorable as a fine dessert.
We opened our doors in Wāperiki in 2018 with a second-hand fryer, six recipes and considerably more optimism than money. The first year was a lesson in early mornings, burnt batches and figuring things out the hard way. Slowly, people came back. Then they brought friends.
Every batch is mixed, proved, fried and finished by hand. We work in small quantities so every donut reaches the cabinet at its very best.
